The New Zealand United Nations Women's Empowerment Principles White Camellia awards celebrated organisations taking positive steps to ensure workplaces were fair, equal and offered the opportunity to succeed.
Chamber chief executive Dougal McGowan was thrilled to receive a White Camellia award for small business in Wellington this week.
The chamber's board is about 50% female. About 80% of the senior leadership team and about 75% of staff are female.
